Starting new in September 2025, Ballet classes for children aged 4 years+.

Rather than dividing into grades and working towards an exam, these classes will be aimed at teaching children ballet following technique and exercises from the N.A.T.D syllabus, but without the stress and the high cost of exams. This allows everyone to take part without the worry of having to achieve a certain level required for a graded ballet exam. It also allows the class to be tailored and refreshed each term to the student’s requirements.

Ballet students will learn choreographed dances and will have the opportunity to perform in the shows at the Barnfield Theatre with children and adults from the other classes.

A traditional uniform or leotard, tights, ballet skirt and shoes will be needed in order to ensure students are achieving the correct positions and turn out.

Day: Monday afternoons

Times: Mini Ballet (4-6 years) 4:00pm - 4:45pm

Junior Ballet (7-9 years) 4:45pm - 5:30pm

Senior Ballet (10 years+) 5:30pm - 6:15pm

Price: £55 per 10 week term (Children also attending Thursday Mixed Dance classes will receive a £10 discount)
